Take Care of Your Mental Home, Body and Heart
Understand the nature of your thoughts, your nervous system and biology of stress reactions, working with difficult emotions, communicating in supportive ways for yourself and others, attuning to and taking care of what is needed in the moment, so you can take care of your whole self.
This course is for individuals living with grief and loss, including bereavement, living with a debilitating illness and their family members. The course is conducted live online over 16-weeks, using the full MCCG curriculum, created for the unique needs of grieving.

This course takes place over the course of 16 weeks. We meet once a week, for 2 Hours. 2 x 1/2 day retreats in the middle of the course are also included.

You will learn about and practice
Grief education. Understanding the theory and science of grief. Recognizing how it manifests for you practically. Normalizing grief.
Body - Mind Awareness
Attuning to your needs to discern what will support you every step of the way
Stress physiology and neurobiology, reactivity and response
Awareness of perceptions, habits and patterns, and how to change them to support you moving forward
Working with Difficult Emotions that often show up in grief
Managing Discomfort
Spiritual, heartful guidance that works for you
Easing Difficult Communications and Relations
Mindful Movement
Creating sustainable Self-Care
You will Get
Full MCCG Curriculum taught over the course of 16 weeks (44 hours of live online instruction & teacher guided class participation)
Education and practices for resilience building, relaxation, groundedness, connecting with self and others, and more - based on mindful, compassionate, cognitive and behavioral management approaches, to support grief and adjusting to new life

2 x 15-30 minute 1:1 interviews for personal support during the course
Access to the teacher/guide throughout the course for support with the course, outside the scheduled class hours, by appointment

Your Teacher Guide
Yasemin Isler, MA Mindfulness Studies, created the MCCG program in 2014 to support anyone who is grieving, with intention to help make meaning, find purpose, move towards healing, and even consider the potential for post traumatic growth.
She is a grief educator/guide, end-of-life doula, integrative thanatologist (focused on the study of death, dying and bereavement) and hospice volunteer. With 40+ years of mind training (including mindfulness) and meditation practice, Yasemin is a certified teacher of mindfulness meditation and compassion through various programs, and a teacher mentor.
She has lived through griefs and losses in life including her parents, and husband. She lives with a chronic illness and is a family caregiver.
Yasemin is also currently working on her upcoming book.
