Mindfulness and Compassion for Grief

Navigating Bereavement and Loss

There’s no right way or wrong way to mourn.

Dear friend,

I’m so sorry for your loss, and I want to welcome you with a compassionate heart to this space. Grief can feel isolating, but here, you are not alone. May you find moments of ease and peace as you navigate this difficult journey.

In this space, I offer programs rooted in both research and contemplative practices, designed to gently support you through the complexities of grief. These offerings have been shaped by my own experience and by the stories of so many others who have walked this path. I hope you will find something here that resonates with your needs and helps you in the process of healing.

Take your time to explore, and please know that whatever steps you take are valid and important. I’m here with you, offering my heart and support as you move forward at your own pace.

With love, ease, and peace,

Yasemin

Children’s Grief

Supporting Children’s Grief

Children grieve, too. Perhaps they are sensitive and hold back on sharing with you because they don’t want to overburden you. This happens quite often. Whether your child’s grief is due to death of a loved one, their own illness, major life transitions, or you are wondering about how to parent while grieving, please reach out. We can have a one time consultation to understand your needs, provide immediate support, direction and referrals as needed, too. Depending on the age of your child, some mindfulness practices or techniques may be supportive for them, which we can also review together.
